MORE TEA TIPS

1. Use of soft, pure water is necessary for the maximization of your tea-drinking experience.

2. We recommend always boiling the water before infusing, even if a proper infusion requires a temperature lower than boiling.

3. In regards to serving tea, we recommend pouring little by little into each cup, to maintain an equal strength of flavor over each serving. The best way to ensure an even pour for each serving is to follow the patterns listed below:

serving 1 person:

Gently pour the entire contents into one cup until dripping significantly slows. We recommend against forcing every last drop out, as this creates an unbalanced flavor.

serving 2 people:

Gently pour little by little, alternating cups evenly.

serving 3 people:

Pour a little into the first cup,
pour a little into the second cup,
pour a little into the third cup,
then pour a little more into the same (third) cup.
Pour a little into the second cup for the second time,
then pour a little into the first cup for the second time.
Pour a little more into the same (first) cup.
Repeat until dripping significantly slows.

This pattern is also used for serving 4 or more people.
