Here, we present tea used for simple enjoyment: Genmaicha and Karigane teas. Our tea-master particularly favors these teas that can be appreciated anytime, anywhere.

EXQUISITE KAORI-GENMAICHA
(Gokujō Kaori Genmaicha)

Kaori means “fragrance” in Japanese, and we strive to select Sencha tea housing the finest aromas for this blend. This Genmaicha is ideal for the preparation of Ochazuke, and goes well with all flavors. It is made up of Mochi rice, grown and roasted here in Japan. GYOKURO GENMAICHA

A large component of this tea comes from tea plants having been grown under Gyokuro conditions. Also containing Karigane, this Genmaicha has a slightly sweet flavor. KAORI-GENMAICHA

This is the most popular Genmaicha at Rishouen Tea. That being said, it is a tell-tale sign that our customers know a good buy when they see one! EXTRA-FINE GENMAICHA
(Tokujō Genmaicha)

HATSUKARI

The gentle flavor of this Kabusecha calls to mind a gentle spring breeze characterized by a refined mildness. As it contains Karigane selected from only the first harvest, it is a fine tea. (For specific instructions on how best to infuse Hatsukari, please click here.)

FINE NETTÔ “GYOKURO”
(Jō Nettō Gyokuro)

This is a Kabusecha of a particular quality, reminding one of a Gyokuro. We can enjoy its richness easily by infusing with boiling water, as this tea is of great quality. Being exceptionally simple to prepare with its inclusion of Karigane, Fine Nettō “Gyokuro” is ideal for a quick tea break amidst the bustle of the work day. NETTÔ “GYOKURO”

This is a Kabusecha of a particular quality, reminding one of a Gyokuro. We can enjoy its richness even with boiling water. This tea of quality has mild flavors as well as particular aromas as a result of the final drying technique, and the inclusion of Karigane.
